The following packing list should be sufficient for your safari, as laundry is washed daily at all camps.

We recommend packing a complete change of clothes, including underwear and socks, as well as a small emergency laundry kit in your hand luggage — just in case your checked luggage is delayed.

When it comes to clothing colours, we recommend shades of green, brown, and dark khaki. Very dark and very light colours should be avoided.

As you will be tracking wildlife in the African bush, it is advisable to wear clothing and footwear that are quiet and comfortable, allowing you to move through the wilderness without unnecessary noise

Recommended Packing List:

  • 3 pairs of long or short trousers

  • 3–4 shirts or T-shirts

  • 2 pairs of good-quality, lightweight, broken-in hunting boots

  • 1 pair of casual shoes

  • 4–5 pairs of underwear

  • 4–5 pairs of high-quality socks

  • 1 lightweight jacket

  • 1 warm jacket (May–August)

  • Fleece jacket, sweater, and tracksuit trousers for night hunts

  • Hunting cap and/or hat

  • Hunting belt and cartridge pouch

  • Sunglasses

  • Small, powerful flashlight with spare batteries or rechargeable battery

  • Camera, charger, and spare memory card

  • Binoculars

  • Toiletry bag with personal hygiene items

  • Sunscreen

  • Lightweight rain gear for hunts (October–May)

  • Casual clothing for evenings

  • Insect repellent

  • Malaria prophylaxis

  • “Skin So Soft” by Avon (against tsetse flies) / Mozambique

  • Protective jacket (“Bugsuit”) against tsetse flies / Mozambique

  • 1 soft rifle case per firearm, as hard cases do not fit in the charter aircraft (we will arrange storage of hard cases at the departure location))

Please note: Camouflage clothing with military patterns is not permitted.
