Wilma Worsley

Forest was born in Zimbabwe and grew up in the African bush. From an early age, he was introduced to hunting on his family’s farm.

After finishing school, Forest began his career in photography and safari tourism, where he developed a deep appreciation for Africa's wildlife and wilderness. Driven by his passion for conservation, hunting, and the outdoors, he later decided to pursue a career as a Professional Hunter and Guide.

He successfully completed his professional training and passed the rigorous examinations required to qualify as a licensed Professional Hunter in Zimbabwe—a demanding process that requires extensive knowledge of wildlife management, ecology, tracking, firearms safety, legislation, and ethical hunting practices.

He has successfully hunted in many regions of Zimbabwe and also guides hunting safaris in northern Mozambique, including areas bordering the Niassa Special Reserve, one of Africa’s largest and most wildlife-rich protected areas. Forest lives and breathes the bush — it is his passion and his home.

Wilma spent most of her life in Germany, where she studied Hotel Management and earned a qualification as a travel agent. In 2021, she met Forest and made the move to Zimbabwe. Growing up with a mother who is a nature guide in Germany, she already had a strong appreciation for the natural world and a basic understanding of European wildlife.

So Forest’s passion for the African bush quickly became her own. She was introduced to hunting, tracking, and life in the wilderness, developing a deep connection with Africa’s landscapes and wildlife. One day, she hopes to become a qualified guide herself and share her passion for the African bush with others.

In the meantime, she is the helping hand behind the scenes, ensuring that every hunting safari runs smoothly through her attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills.

Wilma oversees all organisational and administrative aspects of each safari—from travel planning, permits, and logistics to providing personal support for guests before and after their journey. Her goal is to create a professionally organised, relaxed, and truly personalised experience for every client.
